Donate to the Donna Corey Fund to Support the Performing Arts at SPV!
At St. Pius V School, our mission is to teach the whole child. While many schools espouse this same mission, we live and practice this mission every day, in part by providing a robust offering of extracurricular activities. The school firmly believes that success outside of the classroom can inspire and spur success in the classroom. It is this belief that lies at the heart of our Drama Program.

I am continually inspired by the dedication of our students, the selflessness of our volunteers, and the support provided by the entire school community. It is through this dedication, selflessness, and support that the program has grown over the last several years, beginning with our production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. in a modest church hall, to Music Man, Jr. on a small, donated stage, and culminating with last year's production of Peter Pan, Jr. featuring over fifty students at the 750 seat Bishop McVinney Auditorium in downtown Providence.

As the program continues to grow, so do the financial requirements of putting on such a production. Nonetheless, a key component of the program is that it continue to be accessible to all interested students for only a nominal fee. Indeed, each and every student who auditions for the show is guaranteed a spot in the production. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the creation of the Donna Corey Fund, named in honor of long time St. Pius educator and drama club coordinator Donna Corey, whose vision and commitment to the program continue to inspire us.

Please know that no donation or sponsorship is too large or small. I hope you can take this opportunity to provide for the continuing success of the arts at St. Pius, ensuring that our young students experience theater during such a transformative time in their lives.

Sincerely,
Kevin Peloquin
